First, a data warehouse

The good engineers at AnalyticsCreator will demonstrate how their product ingests source data and quickly, efficiently, and repeatably builds a data warehouse model. From that model, they output an SSIS project that reads from the source, shapes the data, and lands it in a target data warehouse. AnalyticsCreator is a metadata-driven solution for data warehouse and data engineering automation and code generation.

Next, code promotion

I’ll open the AnalyticsCreator-generated SSIS project in Visual Studio and deploy it to an SSIS Catalog on a Development instance. From Dev, I’ll use SSIS Catalog Compare to promote the project to an SSIS Catalog on Production. Then I’ll run a comparison post-promotion to confirm Dev and Prod match.
